Replacing Belt

1.
DISCONNECT SAW FROM POWER!
2.
Remove the table insert.
3.
Remove the ON/OFF switch from the table.
4.
Remove the four table mounting bolts.
5.
With the help of an another person, lift the
table off of the cabinet and set it aside.
6.
Note the location and quantity of any shims
on the cabinet top, then set them aside.
7.
Remove the cap screws that secure the dust
collection chute, shown in Figure 127, then
remove the chute.

8.
Remove the cap screws that secure the
mounting plate shown in Figure 128, then
remove the plate.

9.
Loosen the motor adjustment bolt (see Figure
125 on Page 71).
10. Remove the three Phillips head screws on
the bearing retainer, shown in Figure 129,
then remove the retainer.

11. Place the open end of the arbor wrench on
the arbor, and while keeping the arbor sta-
tionary, use a 25mm wrench to loosen and
remove the lock nut at the other end of the
arbor, as shown in Figure 130.
