XV. Date/Time Setting
1. Call the Initial Mode to the screen. (For the pro-
cedure, see the Service Manual.)
2. Touch "Date/Time Setting."
3. Enter the date and time-of-day using the 10-Key
pad.
4. Touch "Time Zone."
5. Select the time zone using the ▲ or ▼ key.
6. Touch "END" twice.
7. Touch "Exit."
8. Turn OFF and ON the main power switch.
Note:
Be sure to turn off the main power and wait for 10
seconds or more before turning on.
XVI. Connecting Cables
1. With the network cable (category 5), connect the
machine to the network device (hub).

2. Check LEDs for lighting conditions.

XVII. Network Setting
Make the TCP/IP address setting for the network.
Note:
Consult the network administrator for the setting
value to be entered and make settings as
required.
1. Select the function to be used as follows:
Utility/Counter → Admin. Management → Enter
the Administrator Code → Admin. 2 → Network
Settings → Basic Settings.
2. Make the following settings.
IP Address Setting: IP address of the controller
Subnet Mask: Subnet mask of the network, to
which the machine is connected
Gateway: IP address of the default gateway
3. Turn OFF and ON the main power switch.
Note:
Be sure to turn off the main power and wait for 10
seconds or more before turning on.
4. Select the function to be used as follows:
Utility/Counter → Admin. Management → Enter
the Administrator Code → Admin. 2 → Ping, and
make the operation check of TCP/IP.
