2. Remove the 3 screws.
✽ Access screw ➁ through the space between the scanner and the document cover after
opening the cover.
Tighten screw ➂ together with the CLAN finger.
Use a short screwdriver on screws ➁ and ➂.
3. Remove the CLAN circuit board.

✽ Before installing the CLAN circuit board, check that
the OPE cable does not cover the connector for
connecting the CLAN circuit board, and then install
the circuit board

✽ When installing the CLAN circuit board, press
down at the two points indicated by arrows, and
then firmly insert the connectors. (Do not touch
any soldered areas.)
