3. Press the MENU/ESC key to open the main menu.
4. Select [6 Maintenance].
5. Select [2 Self Test].
6. Select [1 Memory Test].
Confirm "OK" for all items except for Data1, Data2, Data3, Data4 and LAN on the
self-test display.
Note 1: "BEACON" is displayed when DGPS function is provided.
Note 2: "OK" is displayed in the "USB" field when a USB flash memory is connect-
ed to the GP-170.
