Sound adjustment

Adjusting the sound balance

From the SOUND menu, press  or  to select
the Balance.

Press  or  to adjust the settings as desired.
Using the Sound Mode
Choose your preferred Sound Mode (Auto,
Dynamic, Natural or Clear Voice).

the Sound Mode.

Press  or  to select Auto, Dynamic, Natural
or Clear Voice.
Adjusting the sound quality
You can adjust the basic sound quality.
NOTE:
This can be set when Sound Mode is set to Dynamic,
Natural or Clear Voice.

From the SOUND menu, press  or  to select
the Advanced Sound Settings and press OK.

Using the Surround
Surround help to create rich and wider sound from
stereo sound sources.

From the Advanced Sound Settings menu,
press  or  to select Surround.

Press  or  to select On or Off .
Using the Power Bass Booster
Power Bass Booster helps to create rich bass.

From the Advanced Sound Settings menu,
press  or  to select Power Bass Booster.

Press  or  to select Normal, Super or Off .
NOTE:
This may not have an eff ect, depending on the audio
source.

Using the TV's features

Resetting the Advanced Sound Settings
This feature resets the Advanced Sound Settings
to the factory settings.
NOTE:
If no sound settings have been changed, Reset is not
available.

From the Advanced Sound Settings menu,
press  or  to select Reset, and then press
OK.

A confi rmation message will appear. Press  or
 to select Yes, and then press OK.
Using the Audio Distortion Control
Prevents audio distortion.

From the SOUND menu, press  or  to select
the Audio Distortion Control.

Press  or  to select On or Off .
Using the Dynamic Range Control
This feature allows control of compression for Dolby
Digital and Dolby Digital Plus.

From the SOUND menu, press  or  to select
the Dynamic Range Control.

Press  or  to select High or Low.
Using the Audio Level Off set
Sometimes there can be large changes in volume
when switching from a DTV 5.1ch to a DTV 2ch,
an ATV channel, or an external input. Using the
Audio Level Off set feature reduces these volume
diff erences.

Set the volume level usually used when
watching a DTV 5.1ch programme.

Tune to a channel which is DTV 2ch, ATV or an
external input.

From the SOUND menu, press  or  to select
Audio Level Off set and press OK.

Press  or  to select an option, and then
press  or  to adjust the volume level.

• If SOUND is selected from the Quick Menu
