Press OK to display the Intelligent AutoView
menu (- page 21).
Press  or  to select Yes or No.

Select Start Scan and press OK to start the
automatic search.
The television will start to search for available
DTV and/or ATV channels. The progress bar will
indicate the scan status.
You must allow the television to complete
the search.

When the search is complete, the search result
is displayed.
• If multiple areas are detected, the Region
Selection screen appears. Press  or  to
select a region, select Next and press OK.
The Auto Tuning screen will display the total
number of services found.

Press  or to view the DTV (digital channel)
or ATV (analogue channel) lists.

Press or  to move through the list to select
a channel and press OK to view.
In ATV mode, some areas may receive duplicate
stations. There may not be a clear picture or the
signal may be weak, so the station order can be
changed using ATV Manual Tuning.
Remember:
Press TV at any time to select between ATV and
DTV modes.

Press  or  to select Enable DTV Clock and
use  or  to select On.
This changes the time displayed when watching
the TV to the time received via the digital
broadcasting signal. The time received by the
DTV Clock is displayed.
If the time needs to be adjusted according
to the area in which you live, perform the
following procedure.

Press  or  to select Off set and use  or 
to adjust the time.
The time can be adjusted in 30 minute
increments. The adjusted time is displayed in
Display Clock.

Press  or  to select Done and press OK.
If time information is not being received
correctly via digital broadcasting, or digital
broadcasting is not available in your area,
follow the steps described in "Setting the clock
manually" ( - page 19) to set the clock
manually.
NOTE:
• If the time is not set, some features such as recording
and the programme guide cannot be used.
• When you set the clock manually, it may not be
perfectly accurate. It is recommended that you
adjust the clock regularly.
• If you unplug the power supply, the time information
will be deleted. A message will be displayed the next
time the TV is turned on. Set the correct time again.
• If the time information is incorrect, programmed
recording may not be performed properly.
Furthermore, if the time information diff ers
according to the currently viewed channel,
programmed recording may not be performed
properly depending on tuning operations.
NOTE:
The Quick Setup menu can also be displayed from
the SETUP menu at any time while watching TV
broadcasts.
