Catch-up viewing will start from where the
programme was paused.
NOTE:
• When the TimeShift function exceeds 12 hours, it
will stop automatically.
• The following operations cannot be performed
during catch-up viewing.
• Operations using s (Stereo/Bilingual selection,
audio language selection).
• Subtitle display.
Recording Setup
To set the capacity for the TimeShift function

Press MENU, then press  or  to display
PREFERENCES menu.

Press  or  to select Recording Setup and
press OK.

Press  or  to select TimeShift Size.

Press  or  to select 512 MB, 1 GB, 2 GB, or
4 GB.
Device Test
Test whether the connected USB storage device
functions properly.
NOTE:
Recording may not be possible while performing
Device Test.

From the Recording Setup menu, press  or
 to select Device Test and press OK.
The Device Test screen is displayed, and
Recording and TimeShift testing is performed.
This may take a while.

Check the displayed result and press OK.
The results of the device test are only a guide.
The device may not function as shown in the
results.

Connecting your TV
Format Device
Format the connected USB storage device.
NOTE:
• When you use Format Device, the contents of the
USB storage device are deleted.
• Recording is not possible while performing Format
Device.

From the Recording Setup menu, press  or
 to select Format Device and press OK.
A confi rmation screen appears. To format, select
Yes and press OK.
• Formatting begins. This may take a while.
When the screen indicating formatting is
complete is displayed, press OK.
Viewing a recorded programme
Display the Library screen and select the title of the
recorded programme from the list.

Press MENU, then press  or  to display
APPLICATIONS menu.

Press  or  to select Media Player and press
OK.
The top screen of the Media Player appears.
• You cannot select Media Player while
recording.

Press  or  to select Library and press OK.
Library screen will appear.
