Dot by Dot
"Dot by Dot" is a non-scaling display. Depending on
the input signal format, the picture is displayed with
side panels and/or bars at the top and bottom (e.g.
VGA input source).
Normal
Sets the size to full screen without changing the
aspect ratio when watching a video stored on a USB
device.
Zoom
Sets the size to full screen keeping the 21:9
circularity ratio when watching a video stored on a
USB device.
NOTE:
• Using the special functions to change the size of
the displayed image (e.g. changing the height/
width ratio) for the purpose of public display or
commercial gain may infringe on copyright laws.
• If the aspect ratio of the selected format is diff erent
from the one of the TV transmission or video
programme, it can cause a diff erence in vision.
Change to the correct aspect ratio picture size.
• When using the PC connected via HDMI terminal,
the moving image quality may be deteriorated.
Using the Intelligent Scene Optimiser
You can easily select the best picture and sound
quality for what you are watching.
• Sound is aff ected when the Sound Mode is set to
Auto (- page 25).

Press QUICK to open the Quick Menu.

Press  or  to select Intelligent Scene
Optimiser and press OK.
The Intelligent Scene Optimiser window will
appear at the bottom of the screen.

Using the TV's features

Press  or to select the best mode for what
you are watching, and press OK.
• Auto mode automatically sets the best picture
and sound quality for what you are watching.
• The modes that can be selected diff er
according to the input and what you are
watching.
NOTE:
The Intelligent Scene Optimiser you select aff ects
the current input only. You can select a diff erent
Intelligent Scene Optimiser for each input.
Activating the Picture Mode
This TV off ers the choice of personalising the picture
style.
Intelligent AutoView, Dynamic, Standard and Mild
are preset options and affect many features/settings
within the TV.

From the PICTURE menu, press  or  to
select Picture Settings and press OK.

Intelligent AutoView : Optimised picture

Dynamic : Maximizes Contrast, Saturation,
Sharpness, Grey Scale, and Brightness to create
more vivid and dynamic images.
Standard : Standard picture settings.
Mild : Lower contrast for darkened rooms.
NOTE:
The Picture Mode you select aff ects the current input
only. You can select a diff erent Picture Mode for each
input.
