Cleaning the interior and ac‐
cessories
Clean the appliance at least once a
month.
Remove soiling immediately to pre‐
vent it from drying on.
 Clean the interior with lukewarm wa‐
ter and a little washing-up liquid ap‐
plied with a soft sponge. After clean‐
ing, wipe with a clean, damp cloth
and then dry with a soft cloth.
The stainless steel trim on the
shelves, bottle or door shelves is not
suitable for cleaning in a dishwash‐
er.
Remove the stainless steel trim and
strips before putting the shelves into
the dishwasher.
The following parts cannot be cleaned
in a dishwasher:
– the stainless steel trim or strips
– the bottle rack
– all drawers and the drawer lid (de‐
pending on model)
 These accessories should all be hand
washed.
Cleaning and care
The following parts are suitable for
cleaning in a dishwasher:
The maximum temperature of the
dishwashing programme selected
must not exceed 55 °C.
Contact with natural dyes from car‐
rots, tomatoes and ketchup may dis‐
colour the plastic parts in the dish‐
washer.
This discolouration does not affect the
stability of the parts.
– bottle holder, butter dish, egg tray,
water container (depending on mod‐
el)
– the bottle shelf and shelves in the
door (with stainless steel trim re‐
moved)
– the adjustable shelves (with the trim
and strips removed)
 Clean the condensate channel and
drain hole frequently so that conden‐
sate can drain away unhindered. Use
a straw or similar to clear the drain
hole if necessary.
 Miele stainless steel conditioning
agent can be used to remove any
soiling from the stainless steel trim.
Tip: It is important to treat the stainless
steel trim with Miele stainless steel con‐
ditioning agent each time it is cleaned.
This will protect the surface and help
prevent re-soiling.
 Leave the door open to air the appli‐
ance for a short while and to prevent
odours building up.
