Installing the Power Cable

To install the power cable:
1 Connect the 3C882 ISDN modem power cable to the
9 VDC power connector on the back panel of the ISDN
modem, as shown in Figure 2-7.

2 Plug the transformer end of the power cable into a surge-
protected standard 110 VAC wall outlet.
The indicator LEDs on the front panel (see Figure 2-2) flash
momentarily as the unit undergoes a power-up self-test
diagnostic.
This completes the 3C882 ISDN modem installation.
Go to the appropriate chapter to configure the 3C882 ISDN
modem, either Chapter 3, "Configuration for an
IBM-Compatible PC,"or Chapter 4, "Configuration for an Apple
Macintosh Computer."
