Dear customer, thank you for buying our product. Before putting this device into operation,
please read very carefully the instruction manual, the warranty certificate and the cash receipt
and keep them in a safe place. Where possible, check the packing and the packing contents.

GENERAL SAFETy INSTRUCTIONS

• Use this unit exclusively for the private and specified purposes. This unit is not intended for
commercial utilisation.
• If the unit stops working due to intensive smoke and excessive heat, remove the batteries
immediately and unplug the power cord.
• Do not install the unit in the following places:
o Places with direct sunlight or near devices producing heat, for example electrical heat-
ers.
o Do not place the unit near the sources of interference or metal frames, for example com-
puters or TV sets.
o Do not use the unit at low temperatures for extended periods of time.
o Do not place the unit on the top of other stereo device producing excessive heat.
o Do not place the unit in locations with insufficient ventilation or excessive dust.
o Do not place the unit in locations exposed to permanent vibrations
o Do not place the unit in wet and humid locations.
• This manual is the user's guide for operation; it is not a criterion for configuration.
• Clean the unit with soft cloth. Do not use solvents or other aggressive detergents.
• Do not repair the unit yourself, but contact an authorised service person. To eliminate any
risk, have the damaged power cord replaced with the cord of the same specification by the
manufacturer, by our customer service or by other qualified person.

BATTERy PRECAUTIONS

Follow these precautions when using batteries in this device:
1. Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
2. Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery
compartment. Reversed batteries may cause damage to the device.
3. Do not combine different types of batteries (e.g. alkaline and carbon-zinc ones) or old batter-
ies with new ones.
4. If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent dam-
age or injury from possible battery leakage.
5. Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged; they can overheat and explode.
