The microwave oven sensor automatically adjusts the cooking time to the type and amount of cooking
desired. For example, if a frozen entree is selected, SC-8 is displayed. Press Start/+30sec to start
the sensor reheat function, and SC-8 flashes. You do not need to set the time. The sensor beeps 5
times when finished. Once complete, the oven returns to wait mode.
Notes on sensor cooking:
1. The temperature of the room must not be higher than 35° C (95° F).
2. The weight of the food must be more than 110g (4 oz.).
3. The cavity, glass tray and utensils must be dry before putting the food in.
4. The food to be reheated may be covered with a lid, but the lid must have a vent hole so that
steam can escape. Sealed utensils cannot be used.
5. The door must be kept closed while the time expires, or if the buzzer has not sounded twice.
6. When the buzzer sounds twice, the time will count down, displaying the remaining time. You can
open the door to mix the food, turn it over, or replace it. Then proceed to the next function.
7. Allow the food to rest for awhile after cooking is finished.
8. During the sensor cooking process, if the time has not counted down, do not open the oven door
or press Stop/Cancel. Otherwise, the sensor will be interrupted and the desired outcome may not
be achieved.
Using the potato menu:
1. Place the food in the oven cavity. The maximum number of potatoes is 4, and each can weigh up
to 8 ounces.
2. Press the Potato key once. SC-7 displays.
3. Press the Start/+30sec key. The buzzer will sound once when sensor cooking starts.
4. The buzzer sounds twice when the sensor detects the steam. The time counts down and displays
the remaining cooking time. When cooking is finished, you hear 5 beeps and the oven returns to
wait mode.
