10 Program management

This chapter describes how you can edit your lists of favourite programs based on your
wishes. This function is also required to sort new found programs into the program list after
a program scan has been performed.
In this regard you should know the following: Your TV set is equipped with two programme
lists, the Favourites list and the Total list.
The Favourites program list includes all the programs you have accepted into the list accord-
ing to the procedure described below.
In the Total list are all the TV programs or radio programs that come up in the search results
after a search. This also contains programs, which you have not recorded in the list of
favorites.
In addition, this chapter describes how you can delete programs or record them in the elec-
tronic program guide as well as the use of the child protection function.

10.1 Accessing program management

Press the Menu key to display the Main menu.

Use the arrow keys up/down to mark the line Manage TV lists, in order to

work on the TV list, or Manage Radio lists, in order to work on the radio list.
Confirm by pressing OK.

The programme list management required to work on the respective Favourites list
(TV or Radio list) will be displayed. The Favourites list will be displayed on the right

half of the screen. The alphabetically sorted Total list will be displayed on the left half
of the screen. The Total list includes all available programs.

10.1.1 Select a Favourites list

By pressing the green function key Favorites list, you can switch from the Overall

list or provider list to the list of favorites.
> By pressing the green function key several times, you will reach the selection of the
list of favorites.
Use the up/down arrow keys to select the list of favorites that you wish to proc-

ess and confirm with OK.
The relevant list of favorites will now be displayed.

10.1.2 Select Total list

Press the red function key to move the marker to the Total list. This is now active.

Pressing the red function key Overall list again will open a selection window. Here
>
you have the option of sorting the Overall list according to various selection criteria
(e.g. all channels, all free to air, all new, all found, all HDTV etc.) as well as by pro-
vider, languages, satellites or genres.
