maintain adequate stable fuel flow. Vapor lock is most often indicated
by any or a combination of the following:
• Fluctuations in normal fuel flow possibly coupled with abnormal
engine operation;
• Rising EGTs and TIT coupled with falling fuel flow
• Rising CHTs (late in the process)
After the aircraft is in cruise flight for 30 minutes or more, the fuel
pump should be returned to the BOOST position or OFF, as conditions
permit.
