IMPORTANT When you drill the pilot holes for the mounting screws in the next few procedures, be careful not to drill through

the top of the wing.

❑ Repeat the previous procedures to install the remaining two mounting straps and secure the second landing gear wire into place.

step 2: instaLLing the WheeLs

IMPORTANT Tighten the machine screws firmly, then double-check that both wheels spin freely.

❑ Electric Drill

❑ 1/16" (1.6mm) Drill Bit

step 1: aLigning the coWLing

❑ Remove the high speed needle valve and the muffler assembly from your engine and set them aside.

IMPORTANT When you install the landing gear wires in the next procedure,

make sure that you install them so that they are angled forward.

❑ Insert the 90º bend in each of the two landing gear wires into the predrilled

hole in each landing gear mounting slot.

❑ Push the landing gear wires firmly down into the slot.

❑ Working with one landing gear wire for now, position two mounting straps

over the landing gear wire. Space each mounting strap 5/8" (16mm) in from

each end of the landing gear wire, then mark the locations of the mounting

screws onto the wing.

❑ Drill four 5/64" (2mm) diameter pilot holes into the wing at the marks

you drew, then install the two mounting straps, using four M3 x 12mm wood

screws, to secure the landing gear wire into place..

❑ Push one wheel spacer completely onto each axle.

❑ Slide one wheel onto each axle, then secure the wheels into place, using

two wheel collars and two M3 x 5mm machine screws.
