MAIL ERR - XXX - (Note: "XXX" represents a 3-digit
number.) An error occurred when the Internet fax attempted
to send or receive e-mail.
If one of the following messages appears after the error
number, see Problems sending or receiving e-mail on page
177.
- SERVICE ERROR
- AUTHENTICATION ERROR
- COMMUNICATION ERROR
- UNABLE TO ACCESS MAIL
- UNABLE TO SEND MAIL
- MODEM ERROR
- CONNECTION ERROR
- DATA ERROR
If UNSUPPORTED FORMAT appears after the error
number, you have received a file attachment that the Internet
fax cannot print out. See page 69.
CANCEL - The transaction was cancelled because the
STOP key was pressed, no document was in the feeder, or
the other machine requested transmission using a function
which your fax machine does not have. If you were
attempting to fax, make sure a document is in the feeder. If
you were receiving, contact the faxing party to see how they
are trying to send to you.
