    Environment The service environmental conditions are as follows: • Temperature: 50 to 90.5 °F (10 to 32.5 °C) (But humidity should be 70% or less when temperature is 90.5 °F (32.5 °C).) • Humidity: 15 to 80% (But temperature should be 86 °F (30 °C) or less when humidity is 80%.) Use coated paper at a temperature of 80.6 °F (27°C) or less and a humidity of 60% or less.

    Preparation before Use Network Setup (LAN Cable Connection) The machine is equipped with network interface, which is compatible with network protocols such as TCP/IP (IPv4), TCP/IP (IPv6), IPX/SPX, NetBEUI, IPSec, and AppleTalk. It enables network printing on the Windows, Macintosh, UNIX, NetWare and other platforms. This section explains the TCP/IP (IPv4) Setup and AppleTalk Setup procedures.

Do not use paper that has a rough surface or paper fiber lint, or that is especially delicate.
