6. Deflated Tires

WARNING!
In case of a flat tire while running, do not
apply hard braking, as the vehicle could go
out of control. Rather, hold the steering
wheel firmly and slowly apply the brake
pedal to decelerate and then park well off
the road.
Important: Avoid changing a tire on slopes
or soft ground.
Pull the parking brake tight, and assemble
necessary tools: jack and handle Insert a wedge
on both sides of the opposite tire for safety.
Cover the wheel nut
wrench on the bolt,
then loosen the
bolt to dismantle
spare wheel
Wheel nut wrench
If the wheel is equipped with an ornamental
cover, pry off the cover with a straight
screwdriver.
Partially unscrew all wheel nuts with wheel nut
wrench.
CAUTION!
Be careful not to allow
the wrench to skid as this
could cause injury.

Jack up the vehicle with care until the wheel is
clear of the ground.Rotate the rocker clockwise
to lift up the vehicle, while counterclockwise to
lower it.
Jack up positions of the hoisting jack:
Front axle
Jack up the underside of lower trailing arm with
hoisting jack as shown in the above figure.
