General Instructions
Read these instructions carefully before
installation and use. Keep this manual for
future reference.
The product may only be used as set out in
the assembly and operating instructions. The
guarantee is only valid if the product is used
in the manner intended and in accordance
with the instructions
Application
Smaller entrance halls, cashier's or check-
out counters and other spaces where a long
and narrow heating/air flow is required.
AD100 is designed to be mounted above
smaller openings and lobbies. It provides a
concentrated vertical airflow.
Mounting
As a general rule the AD100 should be
mounted as close to the opening's top as
possible in order to ensure the best function.
• Measure out, mark and cut out holes for the
brackets, c-c 600 mm. Mount the brackets
onto the wall upwards or downwards with
consideration to the minimum measures
and restrictions (A).
Slide the AD100 sideways into the grooves
in the brackets. Tighten the screws! (B)
• When mounting on a pendulum the brackets
must be turned around as in fig. (C) to
ensure the AD100 hangs straight down.
• Beam, balk and girder mounting requires
that the threaded holes on the air curtain's
top be used for mounting. (When being
mounted in a false ceiling make sure that
the AD100 receives enough intake air supply
and that no ventilation can interfere with
the air curtain's function).
• NB! Do not mount the AD100 so that in- or
out airflow is hindered!

Instruction for installation and use
Electric installation
The AD100 is delivered with flexible cord
and grounded plug. A permanent installation
(without plug) should be preceded by an all-
pole switch with at least 3 mm breaking gap.
NB! The wall socket for AD 103 must be
protected by a 16 amps fuse.
Function
off
half fan, half power
(AD 102 only: half fan, full power)
full fan, half power
full fan, full power
The thermostat is adjusted on an ascending
scale with 20 °C indicated.
Overheating
If the airflow is hindered, the built-in
temperature limitier will be triggered and
the AD100 cease to function. A qualified
electrician must be contacted to rectify the
fault and reset the limiter.
NB! The appliance must not be covered
either with clothes or similar material, since
overheating of the appliance can be a fire
hazard!
Residual current circuit breaker (E)
When the installation is protected by means
of a residual current circuit breaker, which
trips when the appliance is connected, this
may be due to moisture in the heating ele-
ment. When an appliance containing a heater
element has not been used for a long period
or stored in a damp environment, moisture
can enter the element.
This should not be seen as a fault, but is sim-
ply rectified by connecting the appliance to
the mains supply via a socket without a safety
cut-out, so that the moisture can be elimi-
nated from the element. The drying time can
vary from a few hours to a few days. As a pre-
ventive measure, the unit should occasionally
be run for a short time when it is not being
used for extended periods of time.
