AUTOLUBE PUMP AIR BLEEDING
1. Remove
8 Lower cowling
8 Air shroud 1 1
2. Air bleeding:
8 Pump case and / or oil hose.
***********************************
Air bleeding steps:
8 Place a rag under the autolube pump to catch
the oil.
8 Remove the bleed screw 1.
8 Keep the oil running out until air bubbles dis-
appear.
8 When air bubbles are expelled completely,
tighten the bleed screw.
NOTE:
Check the bleed screw gasket. If damaged, re-
place with a new one.
Place a oil pan under the autolube pump to
catch oil.

3. Air bleeding:
8 Pump distributor and/or delivery hose
*************************************
Air bleeding steps:
8 Start the engine.
8 Run the engine for 2-3 minutes at 2000 r/ min.
This will completely remove autolube pump
system of air.
