5. Functional overview

The heart rate monitor has three different modes:

• Time mode

• Stopwatch mode

• Pulse mode
Select the mode you require with the MODE button.
All functions of this heart rate monitor are contained as sub-menus in these 3 modes. The MODE
button allows you to come out of each sub-menu at any time.
6. time mode
In the time mode, the time of day is shown continuously.
In order to select settings, no other functions, such as stopwatch or pulse measurement, must be
activated.
In order to set the time of day, keep the SELECT/LAP button pressed for about 2 seconds until the
seconds display flashes. You can now select the time and alarm settings in turn. Make the settings
with the UP/LIGHT button. You can set the values more quickly by keeping the UP/LIGHT button
pressed.
Always confirm the settings with SELECT/LAP. These will automatically continue until the next set-
ting opportunity. After you have selected your settings and want to return to the time-of-day mode,
press MODE.
Consecutive numbers in the bottom left corner signal the progress of your settings.
Setting the time:
0. Seconds
1. Minutes
2. Hours
3. 12 or 24 hour mode (12 hour mode: "AM" or "PM" is displayed)
(24 hour mode: neither "AM" nor "PM" is displayed)
Setting the alarm:
4. Seconds
5. Minutes
6. Hours
7. Alarm off or on (on – "ALM" is displayed).
7. Stopwatch mode
1.1 Stopwatch
Press START/STOP to start and stop the stopwatch.
The stopwatch continues running even when a change is made to a different mode.
