Conformity declaration The Selta spa declares under its responsibility that the product ZENYTH 650 is conform to the EC directive 1999/05/EC of the European Parliament and the European Commission dated 9th of March 1999 for radio equipment and for telecommunications terminal equipment and the reciprocal recognition of their conformity.

Environmental impacts The product, at the end of its life-cycle must not be disposed of in the environment; its disposal must occur according to article 13 of the Law Decree 25th July 2005, n. 151 “Implementation of the directive 2002/95/EC, 2002/96/EC and 2003/108/EC, relative to the reduction in the use of dangerous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, as well as the disposal of refuse”.

    7. Installation Telephone installation 1. Connect one end of handset coil cord to the handset base and the other end to the base unit at (27). Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the base unit at (26), and the other end to the wall outlet. In case your house is not equipped with a compatible wall outlet, you may need an adaptor, or you should consult your distributor/retailer for assistance.

  • Page 12 REMARKS: If the telephone line is disconnected, batteries are needed to maintain the clock, phone setup, outgoing call records and caller ID records. When the Battery Low Indicator appears on the LCD, you need to replace a new set of batteries. Or, that symbol may indicate that there is no battery in the phone.

    8. Main features Phone Setting At the on-hook or off-hook state, press OK key into the setting mode, and the LCD will display: VIEW MENU ↑↓. Use UP or DOWN key to select among different items. When you choose one item, press OK key again to go into its setting.

    8.1.5 LCD Contrast When the LCD displays: CONTRAST ADJUST , press OK key and then use UP or DOWN key to select among 5 different contrast levels the one that you prefer. The default setting is 3. 8.1.6 Babycall When the LCD displays BABYCALL , press OK key once and display BABYCALL OFF .

If it is a FSK format caller ID signal, the current month, date and time display will be updated (while the year remains unchanged). If there is no information from exchange, the name shown on the LCD will be same as that in the phone book.

    8.4 Two-way speaker phone operation 8.4.1 Speaker mode To make a call, press SPEAKER key to activate the speaker phone. Press SPEAKER key to deactivate the speaker phone when the call is over. 8.4.2 Speaker volume control To change the speaker volume, press VOL key to adjust the volume levels during off-hook state.
