You can choose for the system to remain powered off (in which case you must press the power switch to turn it back on), or for it to automatically return to the power-on state.

Also, improper CPU installation or socket/pin misalignment can cause serious damage to the CPU or the motherboard that will require RMA repairs. Be sure to read and follow all instructions thoroughly before installing your CPU and heatsink.
