Minimum Vent Pipe Shield – Used for Minimum Vent Applications Only
The minimum vent pipe shield is required when running minimum vent configurations (see page 29). The
shield is shipped with the fireplace loose and must be installed as shown below.
NG Minimum Vent (66" Framing Height)
Secure the pipe shield to the
firestop (mouting holes are
slotted to allow for leveling).
Pipe Shield
1" (25mm) Clearance
Secure the pipe shield to the pipe
with 4 screws. Make sure shield
is level and maintains 1" (25mm)
clearance to pipe.
