Accessing Options on the Cordless Handset

Silent Alert

The Silent Alert option activates an internal hardware vibrator instead of a regular ringer during an incoming call. By
default, the Silent Alert is automatically set to Off.
Handset UI
To activate Silent Alert from the option display:
• Press Change softkey to turn alert On or Off.
The display shows Silent Alert On or Silent Alert Off –confirmed-.
Once the Silent Alert is On, p icon is shown on the top line of the display.

1. You can activate or deactivate the Silent alert by pressing only the

Finding the Phones's IP Address using the Handset

You can find the IP address of the IP phone's base station using the handset. Use the following procedure to find the IP
address.
