spout smoothly fits into the recess.
3. Put the stainless steel filter into the juice receptacle. Push

It is mandatory that the filter is properly seated on the
motor's drive shaft!

5. Carefully tip up the locking bar until you hear and feel the
locking bar snap into the latches on the left and right
sides of the lid.
6. Place the pusher on the chute.
7. Place the pulp collector under the pulp guard.
Tip
Put a small plastic bag, e.g. a matching freezer bag, into
the pulp collector, allowing the bag ends to go over the
edges of the collector bowl.
DANGER - Risk of injury
The pusher must be left in the chute while juicing.
Never put your fingers or any objects into the chute.
ATTENTION - Material damage
- Avoid putting too much food into the juicer or to exert too
much pressure on the motor by pushing down on the pusher
too hard.
- The appliance is not designed for continuous operation.
Allow the motor to cool down after 2 minutes of uninter-
rupted operation.
- Before every use, check if the juicer and all its parts are proper-
ly and completely assembled. Otherwise, the appliance will
refuse to start.
1. Put the prepared food into the order in which you wish to
process it and place a suitable, sufficiently sized receptacle
under the spout.
2. Check that all parts of the juicer are correctly and firmly
assembled and that the ON/OFF switch is set to OFF.
3. Connect the unit with a wall outlet.
4. Flip the ON/OFF switch to ON.
The motor will start to run.
5. Pull the pusher out of the chute and fill the prepared food
into the chute.
6. Slide the pusher into the chute and push down slightly to
propel the food towards the juice receptacle.
The juice will run out of the spout into the receptacle
under the spout.
7. Once the first load of food has been processed, repeat

Juicing
(Black plate)
Note
To maintain perfect performance of the juicer, pre-
vent the pulp collector from becoming too full. Empty
the collector as necessary (see next section).
Emptying the pulp collector during operation
You can empty the pulp collector during operation.
1. Turn off the appliance (ON/OFF switch to OFF) and unplug
from the wall outlet.
2. Slightly tilt the pulp collector away to one side and carefully
pull it out from under the pulp guard.
3. Empty the pulp collector, put it back into place, and restart
the juicer as appropriate.
Placing a plastic bag in the pulp collector
To make the pulp collector easier to clean, try putting a small
plastic bag into the collector bowl. This will also avoid the
pulp in the bowl squirting out at the sides of the bowl.
After use
1. Turn off the appliance (ON/OFF switch to OFF) and unplug
from the wall outlet.
2. Empty the pulp collector or remove the plastic bag.
3. Disassemble and clean all parts of the appliance.
Tip
You can further process the pulp produced by juicing, see
page 17.
