12. Manager functions
In this chapter you find a short description of the
setting options in the Chef Menu. How to call and to
operate it is described under 11.

"Storage volume"
By supplementary brewing the machine tries to keep
the coffee quantity constant at the level which can be
pre-selected here. Such setting is described on page
14.
b) "Coffee jug filling"
This function enables you to either allow or block
coffee jug filling in general. This only affects those
products, however, which have been activated for
coffee jug filling in the respective product parameters
see "f) Products".

"ON / OFF"
As opposed to a complete ON/OFF by means of the
mains switch, with this you will set the machine to
"standby" mode - for the software controlled activation
by means of the timer (cf. 14. "Clock Relay").
Note: When changing over to "standby" operation, the
coffee grounds will be automatically ejected.
d) "Info"
This function enables you to call up the counter
values for each product (daily and total amounts),
as well as the remaining capacity of the water filter
cartridge.
The daily amounts can be deleted for each individual
product by pressing the

"Products"
This function enables you to call up any one particular
product and change its settings.
g) "Coffee preparation"
This function enables you to set the strength of the
coffee in the storage urn.
g) "Operation Parameters"
This selection contains three more sub-menues. In
the sub-menu ...
–
"Accounting" you can switch the accounting
mode on or off. (Such menu item is only visible
when an accounting system is connected and
selected in the service menu);
–
"General" you find a number of additional
selection items with the following functions:
–
"Clock Relay" - here, you can program three
switch on/switch off times, as fully detailed in
chapter 14;
–
"Auto target stock" - here you can set eight
automatic times at which the machine will
brew a certain target stock. For a detailed
description please refer to Chapter 15;
–
"Cleaning Time" - here you can set two
times per day at which a cleaning prompt
shall be displayed. If such time is exceeded,
only the contents of the reservoir can be
dispensed;
–
"Time" - here you can set the internal clock,
as described in chapter 13;
–
"Date" - chapter 13 also tells you how to set
this;
–
"Summer time" - here you can set if you
want an automatic change between summer
and winter time.
h) "Service"
This function is available only for the after sales
service and cannot be activated freely.
