If you are troubleshooting a network problem, when the computer boots to the
first Red Hat logo screen with choices, immediately hit an arrow key to stop it
from counting, then select Safe Boot. Watch the screen carefully, it will
eventually reach a login prompt, login as root (default password is rdserdse).
Once you are in, you can type ifconfig and look at the network settings, and
change them with the system-config-network-tui command.
It is very important that when you are not using the IPMI interface via the
web browser, that you click the logout icon on the upper right before you exit
your browser.
