Clear a paper jam in the top cover of the stacker/stapler
Step Action
4 Remove any jammed paper.
5 Close the guide (F-A2).
6 Open the top cover (F-A3) of the stacker/
stapler.
7 Remove any jammed paper.
8 Open the guide (F-A4).
34 Chapter 4 - Troubleshooting
CAUTION
When you close the guide, be
careful not to get your fingers
caught, as doing so could result
in personal injury.
CAUTION
Open the top cover slowly, be‐
cause opening the top cover
too fast may result in personal
injury.
IMPORTANT
Do not turn OFF the main power
switch of the stacker/stapler
when you open the top cover
(F-A3) to remove the jammed
paper. If you do so accidentally,
follow the procedures to turn
OFF the main power switches of
the attached optional equip-
ments and the machine, and
then back ON.
