Are all LED head Assy parts properly connected to the relay PCB (S2H PWB) and
engine PCB (S2V PWB)?
NO

Is the LED head pressing spring properly set?

Are the protrusions on both sides of the LED head properly in contact with each
FG plate spring?
NO
• YES
Replace the LED head.
Has the problem been corrected?
YES
• NO
Replace the head shield cable.
Has the problem been corrected?

Check the cable connection, then replace the engine PCB (S2V PWB).
Has the problem been corrected?
YES
• NO
Check the cable connection. Then replace the low voltage power unit.
Has the problem been corrected?

Is +24V output to the HVOLT connector Pin 16 of the Engine PCB (S2V PWB)?
NO

Check the cable connection, then replace the high voltage power unit or belt unit.
Has operation been restored?
YES

Is the I/D unit terminal properly connected to the contact Assy? (Refer to Figure 7-3)

Replace Image Drum Unit.
1. When replacing the Engine PCB (S2V PWB), remove the EEPROM from the old PCB,

then mount that EEPROM on the new PCB.
2. If the EEPROM is not going to be replaced, refer to Section 5.2.2.

Clean the LED head lens.
Check the cable connection of the LED and the cable connection between
the relay PCB and engine PCB, then properly connect the cable between the
LED head and engine PCB.
Properly set the pressing spring.
Correct the bend in the FG plate spring.
