Switching the warning tone
If the front panel is not detached from the
heed unIt withlii four seconds of turning off
the Ignition. a warning tone sounds. You C{'In
turn off the warning tone.

Switching the auxiliary setting
Auxiliary devices connected to this unit can be
act vated individually. Set each AUX soulce to
ON when using. For rnore information about
connecting or using auxiliary devices. refer to
USing the AUX source on page 45.

Setting the rear output and
subwoofer output
This unit's rear output (rear speaker leads out-
put
and RCA rear output) can be used for full-
range speaker (Rear SP :REAR) or subwoofer
(Rear SP :SUB
W)
connect,on If you SWitch
the rear output setting to Rear SP :SUB W. you
can connect a rear speaker' lead directly to a
subwoofef without using an auxiliary amp,
Initially. the unit is set fo( rear full-range speak-
er connection (Rear SP :REAR).

Use MULTI-CONTROL to select REAR SP
in the initial setting menu.

Press MULTI-CONTROL to switch the
rear output setting.
Pressing MULTI-CONTROL will sw,tch be-
tween Rear SP :REAR (tull-range speaker) and
Rear SP :SUB
W
(subwooter) and that slat us
will be displayed.
When no subwoofer IS connected to the rear
output. seiect
Rear
SP
:REAR
(full-range speaker).
When a subwoofer is connected to the rear
output. select
Rear SP :SUB W
(subwoofer).

Even If you change this setting, there IS no
output unless you tum the subwoofer output
on (refer to
