Adding New Policies

You can set new, edit and delete existing, enable and disable existing and reload policies through the PCM Poli-
cies pane. See the following image.
1. From the Group Pane, click New Policy.
2. Click Configuration to complete the process.

The Power Node Policy Configuration window displays.
The following table provides a brief description of the available settings.

Select from two policy types, Simple Power Limit and Power
Limit with Inlet Temperature trigger.
Simple Power Limit Policy: Power limit control trigger is
based on assigned power budget value.
Power Limit with Inlet Temperature Trigger: Power limit is
based on assigned upper bound values of the chassis
Assign the total budget limit (Watts). The range differs from
project to project.
