7. TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Problem
LCD is empty.
"NO CHANNEL" is displayed
when pressing [ON/OFF]
button.
Small Voice
Small Ring
"UNREGISTERED" is displayed
on the LCD.
Low battery icon(
flashing on LCD with warning
tone.
Power-off right after power-on
No tone is heard when pressing
a digit.
Unexpected call disconnect or
call failure
Different battery duration from
the battery duration table
Subscript can't be done.
When pressing TALK button,
Phone icon( ) is blinking
several times and disappeared.
When pressing TALK button,
nothing is happened.

RSSI : Radio Signal Strength Indication. Always a user can see RSSI icon while the terminal is operating.

No power
No free channel
Small voice level
Small ring volume level
Not subscribed

1. There is interference of
other systems with
subscription.
2. A station is too far from
the terminal.
3. Wrong PARK value or
(and) wrong AC code
4. There is no available
wireless channel.
Subscription Disagreement
Out of Range
Check the battery then, press the
[PWR] button.
Wait until a free channel is released.
While connected to a call,
Press UP( ) button.
Adjust Ring volume level;
Subscribe the terminal.
Recharge the battery.
Recharge the battery.
Wait until Base Locked or move to a
place with good RSSI
Adjust Key tone level;
In an idle state
Refer to 'HS Setting'
Radio environment is changed
unexpectedly even in the same place.
Move to another place with good RSSI
or wait until RSSI is recovered.
Charge and keep the battery
according to the suggested ways.
1. Remove other systems.
2. Be sure a batation is close to the
terminal.
3. Be sure PARK value and AC
code are correct.
4. Wait
channel is free. If the subscription
still fails, retry of the power reset.
Do desubscribe locally in both sides,
the system and the terminal and
subscribe the terminal in the system
again.
1. Be sure the terminal is locked to a
base station.
2. Be sure the system is operating
properly.
