5.
Prepare the area(s) of the cowling for the
application of the high temperature paint, as
follows:
- If dirt or grease is present, wash the area
with clean carbon tetrachloride or
acetone. Wipe the area off immediately
- Abrade the surface with 280 grit
sandpaper
- Remove the dust with a fully opened tack
cloth
- Cover the area(s) of the cowling that will
not be painted. Use masking tape to hold
the cover(s) in place.

MOUTH

PAINTS ARE POISONOUS

IF IRRITATION OCCURS, GET MEDICAL AID

DO THE WORK IN AN AREA THAT HAS A GOOD FLOW OF
AIR

DO THE WORK IN AN AREA THAT DOES NOT HAVE
SPARKS, FLAME, OR HOT SURFACES.

OBEY THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS.

THE TEMPERATURE MUST BE BETWEEN 65 AND 120

THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY MUST BE BETWEEN 25 AND 80
PERCENT.
YOU CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO

Make sure that you do not damage the
laminate. Only remove the transparent top
coat and the fire resistant paint.
