1. Damage Limits
The rear windows must be replaced when the crack is more than 2.0 in. (51 mm) long and the windows
are damaged. Follow the following replacement information or contact the aircraft manufacturer, Diamond
Aircraft Industries, Canada for assistance.
2. Tools and Equipment
The following tools and equipment are required for the replacement of the rear window:
- High speed grinder
- Blade
- Drill
- Jigsaw
- Chisel.
3. Materials
The following materials are required for the replacement of the rear window:
Adhesive,
Terostat MS9380
Loctite 495
Black paintable acrylic caulking
PF224, black sealant
Cleaner, Prekleeno 900
Deleted.
Masking Tape low residue
Sandpaper
Tape Flash Braker I, II
