Use a high-speed grinder to cut a groove along
the crack on the inner surface of the
transparency. Make sure that it cuts into the
first layer of filler.

On the inner surface, countersink the filler of
the temporary stop-drill holes to a depth of
approx. 0.04 in (1 mm).
10.
Apply filler to the groove and stop-drill holes
until the filler is proud of the transparency
surface. Leave the filler to cure.
11.
Remove the masking tape from the surfaces of
the canopy.
12.
Grind the filler to the contour of the
transparency surfaces and polish the repair
with the recommended transparency polish.
13.
If protective covers were used, remove them
from the inside of the cockpit.
14.
If the canopy was removed for the repair,
install the canopy.
