14. DSP Resources

CD-CP00-xx have 128 channel DSP sender both for basic and expand chassis, and 32 channel DSP
resources (receivers) only for basic chassis. PZ-BS10 have 64 DSP resources (receivers) only for
expand chassis. These DSP sender and resources channels are used for following purpose exclusively.
CD-CP00
PZ-BS10
Function of each DSP
<DSP Sender>
-Service Tone generation
-DTMF sender
-MF sender (E911)
-MFC sender (E1)
<DSP Resource>

-DTMF receiver
-Caller ID sending
-Caller ID receiver
-MF receiver (T1 ANI)
-MFC receiver (E1)
Default of 10-09, :DTMF, Dial Tone Detection Setup
1. Resource 01-08 = 1 : Extensions
2. Resource 09-32 = 2 : Trunks
3. Resource 97-160 =0 : Common
Note 1 - When PZ-BS10 is installed, 64 resources (97-160) will be available for expanded chassis.
Note 2 - Resource number 33-96 are dummy port, not used.
Note 3 - 64 port Conference circuit is independent from these resources.
Note 4 - When 0 = Common is selected at 10-09, and if 14-02-10 (Caller ID) is set to "Yes",
These DSP resources are allocated to trunk side to monitor Caller ID.
For example if there are 8 Caller ID assigned trunks and 16 DSP resources are programmed as
Common, first half 8 DSP resources will be allocated to only for trunk port even set common,
but last half 8 resources can be used commonly for both extension and other trunk port if exist.
Off course if 14-02-10 is set to "No", all 16 DSP resources set to Common can be used for both
trunk and extension port commonly.
Note 5 - Especially for Caller ID sending to analog extension this is performed by DSP resource,
not by DSP sender, so PRG10-09 have to set 1 (Extensions) or 0 (Common).
Also Note 4 is same for this function.
