WINDSHIELD-WINDOWS.
The plastic windshield and windows should be cleaned with an aircraft
windshield cleaner.

moved.
Allow the cleaner to dry, then wipe it off with soft flannel cloths.

a windshield cleaner is not available, the plastic can be cleaned with
soft cloths moistened with Stoddard solvent to remove o il and grease.
Never use gasoline, benzine, alcohol, acetone, carbon
tetrachloride, fire extinguisher or anti-ice fluid, lacquer
thinner or glass cleaner to clean the plastic.

Rinse thoroughly, then dry with a clean moist chamois.

ALUMINUM SURFACES.
The clad aluminum surfaces of your Cessna may be washed with clear
water to remove dirt; oil and grease may be removed with gasoline,
naphtha, carbon tetrachloride or other non-alkaline solvents.

After cleaning, and peri odi.cally thereafter, waxing with a good auto­
motive wax will preserve the bright appearance and retard corrosion.
Regular waxing is especially recommended for airplanes operated in
