SET THE BLUETOOTH DEVICE NAME

In order to differentiate your Bluetooth device from others, you should set up an unique device
name for each Bluetooth device you are using in a Bluetooth neighborhood.
This enables you to find your device when start searching the Bluetooth neighborhood from
another device. The device name is the name which will be published if the unit is found in the
Bluetooth neighborhood.
To set up the device name, please highlight the "Set Device Name" option from Bluetooth menu
and press the LEFT navigation key to enter the device name.
Enter the new device name by using the SCANNDY keypad and press the OK key to save the new
device name.
NOTE
Changing the device name is only possible on SCANNDY units with 19 key keypad.
