WAFER-US15WP 3.5" SBC WARNING: The installation instructions described in this manual should be carefully followed in order to prevent damage to the WAFER-US15WP, WAFER-US15WP components and injury to the user. Before and during the installation please DO the following: Read the user manual: The user manual provides a complete description of the installation instructions and configuration options.
OPEN a jumper means removing the plastic clip from a jumper. Before the WAFER-US15WP is installed in the system, the jumpers must be set in accordance with the desired configuration. The jumpers on the WAFER-US15WP are listed in Table 4-1.
See Figure 4–1 Jumper Location: If the WAFER-US15WP fails to boot due to improper BIOS settings, the clear CMOS jumper clears the CMOS data and resets the system BIOS information. To do this, use the jumper cap to close pins 2 and 3 for a few seconds then reinstall the jumper clip back to pins 1 and 2.
Jumper Location: See Figure 4–1 Set both of the jumpers select AT or ATX power mode for the WAFER-US15WP. AT power mode limits the system to on/off. ATX allows the system to use various power saving states and enter a standby state, so the system can be turned on remotely over a network.
