Contents of the CD and Structure of the Software
The CD that came with your camera contains software and Software Instruction Manuals.

Software that controls communication between the camera and the computer. The "WIA
Driver" is automatically installed with Windows XP and Windows Me, and the "TWAIN
Driver" with Windows 2000 and Windows 98SE.
Functions as software for downloading JPEG images to your computer if you use the
"WIA Driver" alone, or use the "TWAIN Driver" with a TWAIN-compatible software .
You can layout the images
as you wish and print them
on your printer.
You can attach frames and
decorations, insert titles, etc.
and print the images.
Software recommended if you
mainly shoot JPEG images.
You can display images as a list or
display them individually, and you
can edit, sort and arrange images,
etc.
ZoomBrowser EX is linked to other
software that enable you to
download images from the camera,
specify settings for the camera,
print images, process RAW images,
take shots remotely, and merge
images together, etc.
ZoomBrowser EX is linked to your e-
mail software. You can attach an
image to an e-mail and send it.
Compatible with color management
systems.
You can process and display
RAW images, and change
settings for processing
parameters.
You can convert RAW
images to TIFF or JPEG and
save.

EOS DIGITAL Solution Disk

Copying and Displaying the Instruction Manuals
Copy the PDF Instruction Manuals contained on the CD to your computer.
Insert the CD (Software Instruction Manuals) into the CD-ROM drive of your computer.
Open the CD.
Click [Start]

[My Computer] (in versions
other than Windows XP, double-click [My
Computer] on the desktop) and then double-
click the CD-ROM drive into which you have
inserted the CD.
Drag and drop the PDF files in the [English]
folder to the desktop.
%1~~The PDF files will be copied to the desktop .
- Double-click the PDF files.
&t~~jp Adobe Reader starts and the Instruction
Manuals are displayed .

You will need Adobe Reader to view the Instruction Manuals. Install·Adobe Reader if it
is not already installed on your computer.
