The Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT Registration Program Terms and Conditions (for U.S. Residents Only)
Eligibility:
1. Eligibility for registration benefits is limited to residents of the 50 United
States, Washington DC and Puerto Rico who either
(a) actually purchased an EOS Digital Rebel XT (the "Product") new or
(b) received the Product new as a gift from the actual purchaser.
2. Only purchases from an Authorized Canon U.S.A. Dealer in the 50 United
States, Washington DC and Puerto Rico are valid. Eligibility is limited to
Product intended for sale in the US and that carry a Canon U.S.A. warranty
card. All registrations will be subject to serial number verification.
3. Registration information accepted from any Product NOT intended for sale
in the 50 United States, Washington DC and Puerto Rico, and that DO NOT
carry a Canon USA. warranty card does not deem eligibility of any benefit
listed but will entitle the owner to receive automatic email notification of
firmware and software updates for their product.
4. Registration information accepted from any Product resold by the original
consumer does not deem eligibility of any benefit listed but will entitle the
owner to receive automatic email notification of firmware and software
updates for their product.
5. Each purchase may only be registered once and receive benefits
one time.
Priority Telephone Support:
Priority Telephone Support is available Mondaythru Friday, 9 am to 8 pm EST
Instructions for Priority Telephone Support will be provided in your Benefits Letter.
Exclusive Priority Email Support:
Send your written inquiries to the email address included in your benefits letter
and your message will be automatically routed to an EOS Digital Rebel XTTechnical
Support Representative. Support Representatives are available to answer your
inquiries Monday thru Friday, 9 am to 8 pm EST Your email messages will be
given prompt attention, and if necessary, they will be routed to other resources.
Additional Restrictions and Exemptions:
1. The following Products are not eligible for Registration Benefits:
a. Products that have been modified, other than by Canon Factory Service
Center Technicians;
b. Refurbished products;
c. Products used as rental equipment.
2. Any Product requiring repair service must be located within the United States
and have a drop ship point within the United States. Canon will not ship
units outside these regions.
Changes:
Canon U.S.A., Inc. may discontinue the EOS Digital Rebel Xl Registration Benefits,
or change the terms and conditions of registration, at any time in its sole
discretion without notice.
Rejection/Cancellation of Registration Bellefits:
Any misrepresentation, fraudulent information, multiple registrations, or failure
to adhere to any of the terms and conditions voids the offer. Canon U.S.A., Inc.
reserves the right to request additional identification and/or documentation,
including the aforementioned warranty card. No responsibility is assumed for lost
or misdirected mail. Please allow 46 weeks for benefit letter. Offer void where
prohibited, taxed, or restricted by Federal, State,
