Insert the middle leading edge into the front leading edge and at the same time insert the rear crossbar into the front
crossbar (
). Make sure the button springs in the leading edges and crossbars are fully engaged into respective holes.

4. Remove protection bags from top and bottom of the control bar. Unroll the cables set; identify front and rear cables,
side cables left and right. Examine them carefully. Make sure the cables are not twisted or kinked, and that they have no
broken strands (
).

Using 8 mm socket wrench and a flat head screwdriver or two flat head screwdrivers attach the upper control bar fittings
to the keel with a bolt and a safety nut. Secure the assembly with a safety ring.
5. Spread out the control bar legs.
Remove the quick pin from the corner bracket. Insert the corner bracket all the way into the basebar, positioning the
basebar so that the off-set of the basebar is directed forward in the direction of flight (it has to be directed down in our case).
Install the quick pin bolt (from front to rear), securing the bracket to the basebar. Pass the VG rope through the clam cleat.
6. At this stage the Discus reassembly from two meters long
package is finished and the frame is ready for installing the sail
(
).
