1. Turn g as o f f at t he cont rol kno b s and nat ural g as val ve.
2. Remove co oking grate s and fl ame t am ers.
3. Remove gre ase cups.
4. Remove b urner by uns crewing nut fro m b ene at h b urner " fo ot" using a
screwdrive r an d pliers.
5. Lif t b urner up and awa y fro m t he g a s val ve orifice.
6. Cle an inlet (vent uri t ub e) o f b urner w ith sm all b ot tl e b rush or co mp resse d air.
7. Remove all fo o d residu e and dir t o n o utsid e o f b urner sur fa ce.
8. Cle an any cl o gg e d p o r ts wit h a stif f wire (su ch as an op ene d p ap er clip).
9. Insp e c t b urner for d am age (cra cks o r hole s). If d am age is fo und, repl a ce wit h a
new b urner.
10. Reinstall burn er. M ake cer t ain t he gas val ve orifices are co rre ct ly p osition e d,
p ointing st raight int o b urner inl et (vent uri tub e). Also, ch e ck p ositio n o f
sp ar k e le ct ro de.

SPIDERS AND INSECT WARNING!
Spiders and insects can nest in the burners of the grill
and cause the gas to flow from the front of the burner.
This is a very dangerous condition, which can cause a
fire to occur behind the valve panel, thereby damaging
the grill and making it unsafe to operate.
