1. O p en lid w hile lighting the b urner. Lid must rem ain o p en w hile b urner is lit.
2. Val ve must b e in th e O FF p ositio n.
3. O p en n at ural g as val ve.
4. Push an d turn co nt ro l kno b sl owl y ab o ut ¼ turn counter- cl o ck wise until
a click is h e ard. I f ignitio n d o e s not o ccur within 5 se con ds, turn t he b urner co n
rol(s) o f f. Wait 5 minut es and rep e at th e pro ce dure.
5. Adjust val ve kno b to t he de sire d co oking te mp erat ure.
Using t he lighting stick to light t he sid e burner
1. O p en lid w hile lighting the b urner.
Lid must rem ain o p en w hile b urner is lit.
2. Remove th e lighting stick t hen inser t
a m atch into th e end o f lighting stick.
3. Light t he m at ch.
4. O n ce lit, pl a ce t he fl ame t o re a ch t he
burner p o r ts. (S e e diagram.)
5. Press t he co ntrol kno b an d rot at e it co unt
er- cl o ck wise to th e H IG H p ositio n. The
burner sho uld light imm e diate ly.
