II – 1. HYDRAULIC INSTALLATION
The pump can be mounted in one of two ways :
•
Flooded suction (ideal installation).
•
Suction lift – when suction lift is less than 1,5 m for
solutions having a specific gravity of water. Your
LMI metering pump must be mounted so that the
suction and discharge valves are vertical.

may be mounted directly above the
solution tank. A pump mounted in
this manner allows for easy
changing of solution tank.

Flooded suction

The pump is mounted at the base of the storage tank.
This installation is the most trouble-free, and is
recommended for very low outputs, solutions that
gasify, and high viscosity solutions. (Install shut off
valve on the tank).
