6. OPERATION

When operating the amplifying system, please make sure that the loudspeakers always sound well. When
distorsions can be heard, either the amplifier or the loudspeaker is overloaded. Overloads can quickly lead to
amplifier or speaker damage.
In order to avoid damage, please reduce the volume immediately when distortions can be heard. When
speaker-systems are destroyed by overload, the guarantee becomes void.
Always check the sound pressure level with a meter in order to keep to the threshold.
If you want to switch off the system, switch off the amplifier first and then the pre-amplifiers in order to
avoid acoustic shocks on the speakers.

6.1 System-test

Connect your PA-system with the mains.
With the Power-switch, you can switch the PA-system on and off. When switching the device on, the Power-
LED is illuminated.

6.2 Adjusting the signal levels

As soon as the Audio-signals are present the signal levels are reproduced by the speakers. You can adjust
the level of the input signals via the respective controls

6.3 Battery operation

When you want to use the PA-system without mains set the AC/Charge/DC-selector to DC. If the battery is
full, the system will run independently from the power switch setting.
Please note: the PA-system can only be used off mains after the rechargeable battery has been charged for
7-10 h.

6.4 Operation via car battery

When you want to use the PA-system with connection to the car battery, connect the connection cable with
the 12 V power outlet in your car and the DC IN socket of the PA-system. Set the AC/Charge/DC-selector to
DC.
Please note: the PA-system can only be used via the car battery after the rechargeable battery has been
charged for 2-3 h.

6.5 Reverb-effect

When choosing the Reverb-effect, an echo is added to the original sound. The repeating frequency of the
Reverb can be adjusted via the Reverb-control.

6.6 Connecting one PA-system to another

In order to reach a more powerful sound, you may wish to install one PA-system to the left and one to the
right.
If you will use more signal sources, select one PA-system as master-system and connect your signal
sources with the respective inputs.
Connect the Line Out-socket of the master-system with the Aux In-socket of the second system. Set the Aux
In-control of the second system to the desired level.
