2. If the retaining clips are not already open, open them.
3. Position the RIMM or C-RIMM above the connector so that the two notches on
the bottom edge of the module align properly with the empty connector.
4. Firmly push the module straight down into the connector until the retaining
clips pop up and fit snugly around both ends of the module.

Installing adapters
This section provides information and instructions for installing and removing
adapters.
Adapter slots
Your computer has five expansion slots for peripheral component interconnect
(PCI) adapters and one slot for an accelerated graphics port (AGP) adapter. You
can install an adapter up to 330 mm (13 inches) long.
Installing adapters
To install an adapter:
1. Remove the cover. See "Removing the cover" on page 15.
