DT2012197-00 EXPANSION TANK As already indicated, an expansion tank is compulsory when using a closed boiler fireplace. The function of this device and its importance must be emphasised. The expansion tank has a dual function: for heating and for plumbing purposes. From a heating point of view its function is to allow the water, which is an incompressible fluid, to expand or contract. -

Only professionally qualified persons must install, connect and test the closed boiler fireplace in full compliance with current regulations and the enclosed instructions for installation and operation. In the case of incorporation into an existing system, the relative compatibility must be carefully checked. Gruppo Piazzetta S.p.A. DT2010936-00 is relieved from all liability for any damage caused to property or injury to persons by the system. -
