Delete the Pictures in Memory
Press the PUSH dial in. Go to Step 6
to delete all the pictures that are not
protected.
• Select the pictures to delete.
When SELECT is highlighted, press
in the PUSH dial to individually
select the pictures you want to delete.
The camcorder will display the
pictures using the INDEX feature.
Rotate the PUSH dial to highlight the
picture you want to delete.
• To see the next six pictures rotate
the PUSH dial down after the
sixth picture.
• To see the previous six pictures,
rotate the PUSH dial up past the
first picture.
Press the PUSH dial in to place a red
X next to the number of the picture
you want to delete.
Note: If you change your mind, press
the PUSH dial in again. The red X will

disappear, and the picture will not be
deleted.
Rotate the PUSH dial to highlight
NEXT <DELETE> and press it in.
6. The DELETE menu appears.
Use the DELETE menu to delete all of
the pictures that are not protected or
the pictures you marked with a red X.
CANCEL
ENTER
• Highlight CANCEL if you decide
you don't want to delete any
pictures.
• Select ENTER to delete all of the
pictures that are not protected (if
you selected ALL) or the pictures
you have selected and marked with
a red X (if you chose SELECT).
7. Press the PUSH dial in with ENTER
highlighted to delete all of the pictures
that are not protected or the pictures
you have marked with a red X.
ENTER flashes and DELETING IN
PROGRESS appears.
8. Press the PUSH dial in to remove the
menus.
CAUTION: Do not turn off the
camcorder or disconnect the power
source while the camcorder is deleting
the pictures. It will damage the built-
in memory.
